ASSESSMENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL RISK OF EXPOSURE TO COVID-19: A TRANSCULTURAL ADAPTATION

ABSTRACT Objective: to translate and transculturally adapt the Risk assessment management of exposure health care workers in context COVID-19 questionnaire. Method: this is a methodological study. The translation, back-translation, synthesis, evaluation by experts committee pre-test stages were followed. participants invited electronic means answered an online data collected between June September 2020. Content validation was verified using Validity Index. assessed instrument's applicability “Assessment Instruments' Feasibility” Results: study four translators, eight evaluators 35 professionals who pre-test. changes suggested accepted consensus reached two rounds, obtaining content validity index higher than 0.80 for all items instrument. version presented good satisfactory reliability (0.76). Conclusion: instrument adapted use Brazil, which will allow international comparison results obtained decision-making relation workers' health. In addition that, its may be expanded assess other situations professionals' risk contamination infectious agents.
